İpek Han – Bursa

İvaz Paşa Çarşısının batısında, Pirinç Han’ın güneyindedir. Çelebi Mehmet tarafından Yeşil külliyesine getirmesi amacıyla Mimar Hacı İvaz Paşa’ya yaptırılmıştır. Sultan Hanı, İpek Hanı, Faytoncular Hanı gibi isimlerle anılan Han, 1958 yangınından sonra kesme taş ve tuğla ile yeniden yapılmıştır. Han’ın girişi yeniden yapıldığından orijinal değildir. Cephelerinde ilgi çekici tuğla süslemeler görülmektedir. İki katlı olan Han’ın alt katında 39, üst katında 42 olmak üzere toplam 81 odası vardır. Kaynakça: Bursa İl Kültür ve Turizm Müdürlüğü

The İpek (Silk) Han

It is located to the west of the Ivaz Pasa Bazaar, in the south of the Pirinç Han. It was built by the Architect Haji Ivaz Pasha in order to bring it to the Green Complex by Çelebi Mehmed. The Han mentioned with names such as the Sultan Han, the İpek Han, the Faytoncular Han was rebuilt with cut stone and brick after the fire of 1958. The Han’s entry is not original as it was made again. There are interesting brick adornments on the facades.
